RFC x PID Summer Sizzle League

A Shift in the Game

Floorball has been part of Richmond’s sports landscape for years. A league already operates in the area, and many of Richmond Floorball Club’s earliest players met on that court. That history matters. But so does the difference in vision. Where the existing league has stayed in place, RFC saw space to move. Not only to compete, but to contribute. To grow the game through developing business value for venues to permit more playing time, more open gyms, and a second league that doesn’t split the community—but strengthens it.

The Summer Sizzle League is RFC’s opening chapter. Four teams. Nine weeks. Coed. Open to new talent and returning vets. Games played out in the chilled stillness of the Powhatan Ice Den, where tape meets tile and the echoes feel sharper.

RFC members are the guardians of the sport to foster positivity, not the gatekeepers. An ambitious league with goals to grow Richmond’s talent and young players through accountability.

RFC will offer more and more places to play it—seriously, consistently, and together.
