What to Expect
No Experience Required
Beginners are welcome. The game is easy to learn and accessible for all athletic backgrounds.
Equipment Provided
Sticks and balls will be available. Just bring indoor shoes and water.
Guided Play & Open Gym
Structured introduction sessions and open court time give you space to learn, move, and connect.
Beginner-Focused Opportunities
Friday Community Session
A welcoming, collaborative environment designed to introduce new players to the fundamentals of the sport alongside others exploring floorball for the first time.
Sunday Open Play
Late-morning open gym provides additional space to step on the court, ask questions, and experience the speed and flow of the game.

Many attendees will be stepping onto a floorball court for the first time. The weekend is structured to make learning comfortable, clear, and welcoming.

Growing the Atlantic Coast Community
The Pittsburgh Forge — an emerging floorball community — will be visiting Richmond to learn, compete, and collaborate. This exchange strengthens the Atlantic Coast floorball network and reinforces the Showcase as a regional growth moment.
