2025 SSL Week 9 Recap
🏑 Week 9 Recap & Stakes
Game 17 was a statement night from the Raptors, who poured in 16 goals to sweep the River Dogs and take full control of the top seed. Mathieu Lippens led the charge with six goals himself, while Murtaza Raza and Steven Jurkiewicz added key assists. Katie Marshall chipped in her first goal of the season. Despite strong efforts from Matthew Dillard and Aylla DeSantiago, the Dogs couldn’t keep pace.
In Game 18, the Rough Riders traded punch-for-punch with the Polar Bears, ultimately prevailing 11–7 thanks to standout performances from John Kapp and Jeremy Sacra. Brandon Loughen stayed in the assist race with multiple setups, but it wasn’t enough to knock off the Riders.
