Richmond Floorball Club is organizing this for any player, former player, or future player in our region who wants in. Got a full squad? Great. Just two or three buddies? Even better. Flying solo? Perfect. We can’t wait to meet you. USA Floorball representatives are coming to help everyone learn, level up, and give the Atlantic Coast the tools to build real pathways for the sport together.
Rules:
- The games and tournament will be finished by 12pm Sunday to allow for those traveling longer distances.
- Pending final team count (capping number of teams at 8):
- At least 3, most likely 4
- Games: 4 on 4 then one goalie...5 total on the court at a time
- Length: 40-45 minute games.
- Clock only stops final two minutes of 3rd period on each goal/whistle
- Venue: Powhatan Ice Den - first time offering summer programming this summer - cooling mechanisms present in the ice rink but no AC at this time. It is being installed in August.
- Venue temperature will be monitored as play continues throughout the day if no AC. Venue does have an overlook room to view the games that is air conditioned.
This is the fastest game of floorball you may ever play.
- Played on sport court inside a hockey rink
- Hockey benches, boards, and glass are all in play
- Ball off boards? Play on.
- Wide shots rebound off back wall — be ready
- Ball over bench wall = out of play
- Ball hits netting = out of play
- Free hit awarded per normal IFF rules

Registration:
- Sign up a full team. Or sign up as a free agent and we will place you on a free agent team. Everyone plays.
- Once you sign up as a free agent, you are eligible for referral program.
- For each person who you bring to sign up for this tournament, you and the free agent receive an additional raffle ticket for free to place on either 50/50, stick pack, additional prizes to be named soon.
