Richmond’s floorball event weekend, built for players finding their way in and players ready to compete.

The Atlantic Floorball Open is Richmond Floorball Club’s flagship event weekend, built to bring new, returning, local, and regional floorball players into one visible competitive pathway. After sending two teams and 24 players to USA Floorball Adult Nationals, RFC is bringing that momentum back home to Henrico Sports & Events Center, a 185,000-square-foot venue designed to support Henrico’s sports tourism economy. The tournament aligns with Central Virginia’s growing sports-event strategy by using existing indoor sports infrastructure to attract visiting teams, activate local players, and give an emerging international sport a repeatable Richmond-region home. Floorball is played in 80 IFF member countries, but remains unfamiliar to many Americans, making AFO both a competition and a front door into the sport. At its core, the Atlantic Floorball Open exists to provide those existing floorball players a chance to play on an official, full length IFF court, with the best structure, coaching, and experience RFC can provide the community.
